Jay-Z had the city buzzing like never before Saturday night, with thousands of people lined up in the bitter Carolina cold to fill Time Warner Arena nearly an hour before show time. After the show, Label Nightclub hosted the official afterparty, as Jay, Beyonce, and a host of celebrities filled the VIP of the hottest spot in the city. While other artists have come to Charlotte and performed in the past, no one has brought people from ALL backgrounds and ages together in one arena like Jay did Saturday night. No one.
