Straight from Los Angeles where Crenshaw Boulevard and Slauson Avenue meet is where the young thundercat Ermias Asghedom was born and raised, who is better known by his stage name as Nipsey Hussle.

Through his music he shares his life stories, struggles, and experiences, from his come ups in the streets from being in the Rolling Sixty Crips gang and being in jail to starting his own label called “All Money In” and so on. Nipsey has been active in the music game for a while, he came out with his very first mixtape in 2005 which was titled “Slauson Boy Vol.1”.

As time moved on he later released more mixtapes such as the 3 series mixtape “Bullets Ain’t Got No Name”, “The Marathon”, “The Marathon Continues”, “TMC:X-Tra Laps” and his most current mixtape “Crenshaw” released in October 2013. Crenshaw is the mixtape that is really making people talk because of the controversial price he put on the mixtape which was $100. He set up his site where you can buy that mixtape from. The Crenshaw mixtape features artists such as Dom Kennedy, Rick Ross, Slim Thug, and more. He plans on releasing his next up and coming album “Victory Lap” sometime this year. He also plans on selling that album for $100 as well just like he did with “Crenshaw”.

In his interview with the breakfast club crew (link below) he further explains the Proud-2-Pay campaign and much more. Check it out or as Nipsey would say “Checc Me Out”.
